Blue Moon Yoga Class, Thursdays 9-10 a.m.

This class is designed for all levels of stretching abilities. In this class, you will learn to listen to your body, stretch all joints, strengthen proprioception, and gain skills to assist your body to improved structural alignment.

The goal of this class will be to give you skills that you can maintain at home and build confidence to use your intuition while stretching. The class is 1 hour in length.

Kristi may use CranioSacral Therpy, sound healing or SomatoEmotional Release technique during class to compliment the skills that students will learn.

Kristi has a 200-hour certification in Vinyasa yoga and is certified by the Yoga Alliance. She is also working on a 280-hour Kundalini level one certification. Kristi’s current yoga class is a mix of bodywork and movement.  Her goal is to teach people how to breathe and move so that they can replicate at home.  The class looks different every time, but has an overarching flow; warm-up and breathwork, exercise the core or main muscle groups that will be used for the peak pose, sun salutations with flow, peak pose, ball work, rest or Savasana with sound healing.   The ball work has been developed by Krisit and is unique to her as a bodyworker and teacher.  It is done on a rubber sand-filled ball.  She teaches how to open and strengthen the joints and small muscle tissues of the body.  Each class session spends a little time with the ball.
