About Kristi Schreiner-Huffey, CST, LMP, MSW

Inspired by the birth of her son on a rare blue moon in 2004 Kristi Schreiner-Huffey, CST, LMP, MSW, made a life-changing decision to leave her job as a counselor and pursue her interests in massage therapy, bodywork, health, fitness, and jewelry design.

Kristi earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1999. She obtained her Massage Therapist license following her graduation from massage school in April 2007. Her continuing education has given her knowledge and earned her certifications in CranioSacral Therapy (CST), in 2017. Her services and tools are unique to the Walla Walla Valley and provide alternative methods to healing the mind, body, and spirit in a way that traditional methods may not address.

Kristi continues to deepen her knowledge and is currently pursuing the next level of CST certification - Diplomate (CST-D), which includes SomatoEmotional Release (SER). In the future, she plans to contribute to the field by teaching CranioSacral Therapy.

Kristi currently teaches one yoga class each week on Thursdays form 9-10 a.m.  She has a 200-hour certification in Vinyasa yoga and is certified by the Yoga Alliance. She is also working on a 280-hour Kundalini level one certification. Kristi’s current yoga class is a mix of bodywork and movement.  Her goal is to teach people how to breathe and move so that they can replicate at home.

With a mission to provide high-quality, holistic healing services that prioritize client satisfaction, education, integrity, and responsibility, Kristi continuously expands her knowledge and skills as a therapist, effectively communicating with clients about their treatment sessions, maintaining a clean workspace, and delivering on her commitments. She also strives to create a welcoming and empathetic environment for clients, building relationships, setting boundaries, and showing genuine care for their well-being.

To be a phenomenal human being, offering exceptional service, information, and craftsmanship that reflect her own inspiration are Kristi’s ultimate goals. She believes in the power of love, hard work, and being present for her family, friends, and clients. Kristi approaches each day as a new opportunity and encourages others to embrace positive change, self-actualization, enlightenment, healthy living, and sustainability through her services at Blue Moon Healing Arts.

Dedication to personal growth and learning extends beyond Kristi’s therapy practice where she constantly challenges herself physically and mentally, such as running her first trail marathon with 5000 feet of elevation gain in November 2016.
